Watson Links announced on Mar. 27 a new partnership with Bank of America as part of the Golf with Us initiative, which aims to make golf more accessible for young people while strengthening communities through sport.

The partnership is intended to provide affordable opportunities for youth to play golf, attend instructional clinics, and develop skills through local partnerships. Watson Links will join the Golf with Us program in 2026 by offering mentor-led experiences that help junior players build confidence, learn about the game, and develop life-readiness skills alongside adult mentors.

As part of this collaboration, Bank of America becomes Watson Links’ Champion Partner. This support will help expand mentoring opportunities in golf, fund new on-course experiences, and increase access for children and teenagers nationwide regardless of their skill level.

Watson Links was founded in 2021 by eight-time major champion Tom Watson. The organization pairs junior golfers—typically ages 10–18—with adult mentors for nine-hole rounds focused on enjoyment, teaching etiquette, and developing social skills. These free experiences are designed to remove barriers such as course access, cost, and lack of guidance while fostering connections between generations.

“One of the best ways to learn something new—or master a skill—is with the help of a mentor,” said Tom Watson. “Our partnership with Bank of America through Golf with Us will help give junior golfers more access and on-course opportunities. Playing alongside mentors will help develop life skills like confidence and resilience and a love of the game while fostering meaningful connections that benefit both juniors and adults.”
