Snapchat has partnered with The Royal Canadian Legion to offer new digital options for Canadians to mark Remembrance Day. The company introduced two Bitmoji stickers featuring the Poppy, a symbol of remembrance in Canada, allowing users to share them in Chats, Stories, and Snaps.

The Poppy is recognized as the national symbol of Remembrance in Canada. According to The Royal Canadian Legion, “every year, from the last Friday of October to Remembrance Day, tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to honour Canada’s Veterans and Remember those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today.”

Snapchat stated: “We’re honoured to make these stickers available to our community, helping Canadians share their respect and reflection in a personal and creative way.”

These new features aim to give Snapchat users additional ways to show support for veterans digitally during the annual commemoration.
