Snapchat has launched the Snapchat Winter Village, an augmented reality (AR) shopping experience that brings together luxury brands Chopard, BOSS, and Lancôme in a single digital environment. This marks the first time these three brands have been featured together in a global AR retail setting.

The Winter Village is available to users on Snapchat from December 1 to December 31. Visitors can access the virtual boutiques through the Lens Carousel or each brand’s Public Profile. The experience was developed in partnership with creative studio Atomic.

Each boutique allows users to explore products using dedicated AR Lenses, providing an interactive way to view items up close. Purchases can be completed directly through each brand’s e-commerce platform.

According to Snapchat, “The Snapchat Winter Village uses Snap’s AR technology to offer a fresh, engaging way to shop for the holidays. Snapchatters can discover new products, explore each brand’s universe, or find gift inspiration in a space that blends the ease of online shopping with the delight of an in-store visit.”

This initiative aims to merge traditional holiday shopping with digital innovation by leveraging AR technology.
