December marks a period of reflection for many, and Snapchat is contributing to this with the release of its annual Snapchat Recap. The company announced that users can now access a personalized video summarizing their activity on the platform throughout 2025.

The Snapchat Recap provides each user with a short video featuring highlights from their Snaps, Stories, and Chats. According to the company, this feature offers “a one-of-a-kind look at how they connected, communicated, and expressed themselves throughout the year.”

Snapchat stated that 2025 was characterized by themes of friendship, creativity, and connection. The platform observed that users engaged in various forms of communication, ranging from brief chats to extended calls.

“Across the board, 2025 was defined by friendship, creativity, and connection. From quick chats to long calls and everything in between, friends showed up for each other in more ways than ever,” the company said.
