Snap Inc. has announced new tools and features aimed at supporting content creation on Snapchat. The company reports that over 1 billion Snaps are shared publicly each month by users, creators, and partners.

A new “Create a Video” template is now available globally on iOS. This feature allows users to quickly create Lens-powered videos from their saved Memories. Users can select multiple Memories, add music from Snapchat’s Sounds library, choose a template, and generate a custom video compilation.

Snapchat has also introduced updated insights for Stories and Spotlight. According to the company, total time spent viewing content on Snapchat has increased year-over-year. These new insights are intended to help creators better understand audience engagement and optimize their content.

Another update is the Auto-Save Stories to Public Profiles feature. This tool will allow creators to automatically save their public Stories directly to their profiles so that fans can revisit past content even after the standard 24-hour expiration period. Snap Inc. says this feature will be available soon for creators worldwide.
