The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) has announced that PRIDE Industries, a leading social enterprise focused on employing people with disabilities, has joined the association. PRIDE Industries is recognized as the largest employer of individuals with disabilities in the United States and also provides opportunities for veterans and former foster youth.

Lance Hastings, President & CEO of CMTA, welcomed the new member, stating, “PRIDE Industries is an exceptional addition to CMTA’s membership, and I am thrilled to welcome them to the association. Manufacturers across California are looking toward strong workforce development avenues, and PRIDE Industries’ commitment to creating meaningful career pathways and delivering high-quality products strengthens our state. I look forward to working together to advance opportunity and competitiveness across the industry.”

Tony Lopez, Vice President of Manufacturing & Logistics Services at PRIDE Industries, commented on joining CMTA: “PRIDE Industries is excited to join CMTA and collaborate with leaders shaping the future of California manufacturing. With decades of hands-on experience in precision manufacturing and industrial operations across the state, we bring proven expertise in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. As a social enterprise, we’re committed to driving innovation and inclusion—strengthening California’s manufacturing sector while creating pathways for diverse talent and sustainable growth.”

Headquartered in Roseville, PRIDE Industries operates both locally and nationally. The company employs about 4,000 people nationwide—nearly half of whom are individuals with disabilities—and maintains more than 172 worksites across the country.

CMTA has represented manufacturers in California since 1918. The state’s manufacturing sector generates $300 billion annually, which accounts for about 10 percent of California’s economic output. According to CMTA data, manufacturers employ approximately 1.3 million people in California; these jobs pay wages over $2,500 higher than other non-farm employers statewide.

Founded in 1966, PRIDE Industries reported annual revenue of $483 million for 2024.
