Justin Tran, a patient at Del Rey MD, said in a Jan. 13 review that he had a positive experience with the practice following treatment for sinus-related symptoms.

“I couldn’t recommend this practice more highly,” Tran said in a Google review after an initial consultation at the Marina del Rey office and a subsequent in-office procedure at the practice’s Long Beach location.

Del Rey MD operates multiple offices across Southern California, including Marina del Rey, Long Beach and Bakersfield, providing ear, nose and throat services. The practice performs consultations and procedures in office settings and is led by board-certified otolaryngologist Dr. Farhad Sigari, offering treatment for sinus and allergy conditions using minimally invasive techniques.

Tran said he sought care at Del Rey MD as a first-time ear, nose and throat patient for persistent sinus symptoms.

“I am beyond amazed by the level of care and professionalism from this entire team,” Tran said. “She took the time to thoroughly explain my CT scan, listened attentively to my concerns and provided clear, thoughtful solutions for the sinus pressure and multiple sinus infections I have dealt with over the past year. Dr. Sigari did an outstanding job. The procedure was far less painful than I expected with local anesthesia, and everything was handled with precision and care.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 28.9 million adults in the United States have been diagnosed with sinusitis, representing 11.6% of the adult population. The condition contributes to demand for care from ear, nose and throat providers, including those in the Los Angeles region.

Research on chronic rhinosinusitis indicates about 2.1% of U.S. adults experience symptoms consistent with the condition, while broader sinonasal symptoms affect up to 13% of the population. Some analyses of ambulatory visits report rates of about 9.8% in the Western United States.

Tran’s review reflects one patient’s experience with outpatient treatment for sinus-related conditions.
