Ivy Geilker has been appointed as a Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, effective September 1, 2025. The announcement was made by Brian Bryant, International President of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). Geilker will serve under Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker has led several organizing campaigns since joining IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. She played a key role in bringing new members to The Pharmacy Guild/IAM, representing pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at large companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy.

Before joining IAM Healthcare in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer with the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that role, she managed a team representing workers in various settings including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
