IAM Union’s air traffic controllers prepare for contract talks with Leidos

IAM Union members who work as air traffic controllers are preparing for upcoming contract negotiations with Leidos, a government contractor. Mark Costa, a member of the IAM negotiations team and a flight service specialist, described his responsibilities as providing important weather and safety information to pilots. Costa represents Local 2010 in Reston, Virginia. He stated that both his team and members of Local 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas, are getting ready for these talks.

“I am responsible for providing critical weather and safety information to pilots,” said Costa. “Our team is preparing for contract negotiations with the government contractor Leidos.”
