Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, which covers 29 job classifications including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians, will take effect on January 1, 2026.
The agreement includes a total wage increase of 11.4% over the duration of the contract: 4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Other provisions include increased paid leave with an additional eight hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% rise in 401(k) contributions, maintenance of the IAM pension plan, an extra $390 per month earned during the contract period, and company-covered increases in rehab plans. The contract also introduces new on-call and standby pay provisions as well as language protecting overtime pay.

I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local union in 2016 after previously being part of another local located more than 25 miles away. Members decided to form their own local chapter to better address their specific needs and improve participation.
