All Disney networks, including ESPN and ABC, are returning to YouTube TV following a new multi-year distribution agreement between The Walt Disney Company and the streaming platform. The deal ensures that YouTube TV subscribers will regain access to Disney’s sports, news, and entertainment content.
Disney stated that the agreement is designed to provide customers with more flexibility and value when accessing its programming. According to company officials, the restoration of these channels comes ahead of a weekend featuring notable programming such as college football.
“This new agreement reflects our continued commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment and evolving with how audiences choose to watch,’’ said Disney Entertainment Co-Chairmen Alan Bergman and Dana Walden and ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro. “It recognizes the tremendous value of Disney’s programming and provides YouTube TV subscribers with more flexibility and choice. We are pleased that our networks have been restored in time for fans to enjoy the many great programming options this weekend, including college football.”
The agreement introduces additional ways for viewers to access Disney’s content through YouTube TV, expanding options for consumers seeking sports, news, or entertainment.
