Disney has launched its annual World Princess Week, introducing new content, products, and musical experiences inspired by Disney princesses. The celebration began with the release of a musical brand spot titled “All Princesses Make Magic,” featuring music by Jacob Collier. The spot highlights how children use inspiration from Disney princesses to create magical moments at home.

Mallory Wang, Vice President of Brand Marketing at The Walt Disney Company, said, “For over a century, Disney has enchanted audiences across generations with timeless stories that ignite the imagination, and Disney princesses remain an enduring part of our storytelling—inspiring kids and fans of all ages to go beyond dreaming big, to doing big things. We created this special musical brand spot in celebration of World Princess Week, the countless Disney Princess fans around the world, and the limitless power of their imaginations.”

A key event for the week is the “Disney Princess Concert: Celebrating 70 Years of Disneyland,” which will be available on YouTube on August 29 and later on Disney+. Performers include Auli‘i Cravalho (Moana), Jodi Benson (Ariel), Paige O’Hara (Belle), and Anika Noni Rose (Tiana). Hosts Ginnifer Goodwin and Susan Egan will lead the concert filmed at Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Additional content includes a video ride-along with Jodi Benson through “The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure,” available August 27 on YouTube. Singer Lauren Paley joins Benson for an interview during the attraction.

New product launches mark this year’s campaign. These include Jakks Pacific Majestic Dresses, princess-themed bracelets from Little Words Project, DIFF Eyewear designs, Pandora’s reimagined rings collection, Squishmallows box sets at Disney Store locations, Cakeworthy apparel collections, Once Upon a Story Doll Advent Calendar, as well as newly released books like “Disney Princess: Princesses Love School!” Recent releases also feature Mattel’s Pet Palace sets and LEGO Group’s castle playsets.

Streaming service Disney+ is participating by offering exclusive programming such as LEGO Disney Princess: Villains Unite and a continuous stream featuring stories about courage and friendship among princess characters. Premium subscribers can access sweepstakes for themed prizes through disneyplus.com/perks.

Families can also view behind-the-scenes videos on NatGeoKids’ YouTube channel exploring real-life animals that inspired sidekick characters like Rajah from Aladdin or Pua from Moana.

To mark anniversaries related to its films and music catalogues—such as Tangled’s 15th anniversary—Disney Music Emporium is offering collector editions while streaming platforms host new albums like “Disney Princess Strings: Garden Soirée.” Additionally, a North American tour titled “Disney’s Moana Live-To-Film Concert” will begin October 3 in Morristown, New Jersey. More information about dates and tickets can be found here.

In partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation activities worldwide this week included granting wishes for more than 100 children such as attending concerts or meeting favorite princess characters at Disneyland Resort or aboard cruise ships in Europe. Each year thousands of wishes involving Disney princesses are granted globally; according to company statements they fulfill one wish every hour each day.
