Disney Experiences has announced changes in its executive leadership. Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, revealed that Michael Moriarty will become Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Disney Experiences. Moriarty will replace Kevin Lansberry, who is set to retire in February 2026 after nearly four decades with the company.
Lansberry’s career at Disney spanned 39 years and included roles in Finance, Business Development, Alliances, Operations at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as serving as interim CFO for The Walt Disney Company in 2023.
Moriarty has held various finance leadership positions during his tenure at Disney. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Walt Disney Imagineering and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. He also served in finance leadership at Walt Disney World Resort. For the last five years, Moriarty has been President and Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
During his time leading Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Moriarty oversaw the expansion that included the opening of World of Frozen. This contributed to a record year for the resort in 2024. He also launched a celebration marking the resort’s 20th anniversary, which is currently ongoing.
“Kevin Lansberry will be retiring in February 2026 after an extraordinary 39-year career with Disney that included a breadth of roles across Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts in Finance, Business Development, Alliances and Operations, as well as an interim role as CFO for The Walt Disney Company in 2023,” D’Amaro said.
