Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) adds new filings to its ongoing and new proceedings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in the state. These filings include Proposed Decisions that are often open for public comment, as well as new complaints or applications that may influence future policy and regulatory actions.
For the week of September 1-5, 2025, two Proposed Decisions have been listed:
The first is in Proceeding A25-01-008, filed on September 2, 2025. This Proposed Decision recommends revoking the certificate of public convenience and necessity for California Water Service Company’s Millerton District. Members of the public can review this filing and submit written comments directly through the proceeding’s Docket Card.
The second is in Proceeding R12-02-009, filed on September 5, 2025. This Proposed Decision denies two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036. The document is available for public review and comment.
Individuals interested in participating can submit a public comment on any Proposed Decision via the CPUC Docket Card. Additionally, stakeholders can subscribe to a proceeding using its number to receive updates, rulings, and notices about developments in these cases.
