Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) publishes new filings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers across the state. These filings include Proposed Decisions, complaints, and applications that may influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of August 4–8, 2025, no Proposed Decisions are open for public comment. However, two new proceedings have been filed.

In Proceeding A25-08-001, PacifiCorp has applied for approval of its 2026 energy and gas-related forecast. The application aims to set forecasted cost recovery and align revenues for the upcoming year. Details on this filing can be found on the CPUC’s Docket Card.

Proceeding A25-08-002 involves a request from the Center for Accessible Technology. The organization seeks intervenor compensation for its contribution to Resolution E‑5395. This request is for reimbursement of reasonable costs incurred during participation in the Commission’s decisionmaking process. More information is available on the Docket Card.

The CPUC encourages public engagement by allowing written comments on any Proposed Decision through each proceeding’s Docket Card. Stakeholders can also subscribe to specific proceedings to receive updates and notices as they become available.
