Each week, new filings are added to proceedings that affect utility services and consumers in California. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) provides updates on these activities, which include Proposed Decisions open for public comment and new complaints or applications that may influence future policies.
For the week of September 8-12, 2025, several notable filings were recorded:
In Proceeding A25-04-015, San Diego Gas & Electric Company submitted an application seeking approval to establish a ratemaking mechanism for energization projects. This filing is made pursuant to Senate Bill 410 and is now open for public comment. Members of the public can review the filing or visit the Docket Card for more information.
Another significant item is Proceeding R20-02-008. In this case, a Proposed Decision was issued denying two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036. The full text of this Proposed Decision is available for review along with its Docket Card.
Additionally, a new complaint was filed under Proceeding C25-08-017 by Pilot Services, LLC. The company has applied for registration as a Telephone Corporation in accordance with Public Utilities Code Section 1013.
The CPUC encourages public participation in its proceedings. Individuals can submit written comments directly through each proceeding’s Docket Card or subscribe using the proceeding number to receive updates, rulings, and notices from the commission.
