Bank of America has announced that its fourth annual More Rewards Day will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025. This event allows both Consumer and Business credit cardholders to earn bonus rewards on purchases made during the one-day promotion. Since the launch of More Rewards Day, Bank of America cardholders have earned $74 million in extra rewards, with total bonuses expected to reach $100 million after this year’s event.
“We’re excited to uphold this annual holiday tradition and share this special offer with our clients,” said Lora Monfared, Head of Consumer Card Products at Bank of America. “More Rewards Day is all about celebrating our cardholders by awarding them bonus cash back, Miles or points as they prepare for the increased festivities and spending that the holiday season brings.”
On More Rewards Day, eligible Bank of America credit cardholders with rewards cards will automatically receive additional bonus rewards on their first $2,500 in purchases. The bonuses include 2% cash back, 2 points per dollar spent, or 2 miles per dollar spent. New Customized Cash Rewards and Unlimited Cash Rewards credit cardholders will receive these bonuses on top of their existing new account rewards, potentially earning up to 8% cash back in selected categories or 4% unlimited cash back on all purchases.
For those without a rewards credit card, a 2% cash back statement credit will be applied. All bonus rewards are capped at $50 cash back, 5,000 points, 5,000 miles or a $50 statement credit per account or business for purchases made on November 6, 2025. Enrollment is not required; bonuses are applied automatically. Purchases must be posted with a transaction date of November 6 to qualify for the promotion. Bonuses are generally processed as transactions post but may take up to two billing cycles for some transactions.
A recent survey by Bank of America found that more than one-third (36%) of consumers expecting financial strain during the holidays plan to use their credit card rewards to help manage expenses.
All open Bank of America Consumer and Business credit cards with active charging privileges are eligible for More Rewards Day. Cardholders with multiple cards can earn bonuses separately on each account. Preferred Rewards members will continue to receive their usual bonus but not on incremental rewards from More Rewards Day or new account first-year bonuses.
