Bank of America announced on Mar. 19 a new sweepstakes in partnership with Visa, offering its consumer and small business Visa cardholders the chance to win one of three hospitality packages to FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout round matches. Cardholders are automatically entered into the sweepstakes by making qualifying purchases with their eligible Bank of America-branded Visa credit cards between March 20 and April 20, 2026.

The sweepstakes gives participants an opportunity to attend major matches at the upcoming tournament, including the final in East Rutherford, New Jersey; a semi-final in Atlanta; and a quarterfinal in Los Angeles. Each prize package includes round-trip airfare for two, four nights of hotel accommodations, two match tickets, ground transportation, a group cultural experience, FIFA-themed gifts and amenities, a $600 Visa prepaid card, and a cash award.

Michele Barlow, Head of Enterprise Marketing at Bank of America, said: “Sport has always been a powerful way we connect with and invest in our communities, and the FIFA World Cup 2026 is a monumental event. This program brings soccer’s biggest moment to life for our clients by rewarding them with an opportunity to experience sport on its biggest stage.”

Eligible cardholders are automatically entered each time they make a qualifying retail purchase during the entry period; there is no minimum purchase amount required. No registration or opt-in is necessary. For those who prefer not to make purchases to enter, mail-in entries are accepted and treated equally in the drawing process. Winners will be selected through a random drawing conducted by an independent organization in May.

This initiative comes as Bank of America continues its partnerships within soccer through collaborations with FIFA World Cup 2026, U.S. Soccer Federation, Visa, and Street Soccer USA. The bank states these partnerships aim to engage communities and empower youth through sports.

Bank of America also partners with other major sports brands as part of its broader commitment to community engagement through athletics.
