Amazon has announced the expansion of its Amazon Autos service to include Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned vehicles. This development allows customers to browse, finance, and purchase inspected and warrantied models directly from participating Ford dealers.

According to Business Wire, Amazon’s collaboration with Ford builds on its ongoing expansion into digital automotive retail through Amazon Autos. The new feature enables customers to explore local dealer inventories within a 75-mile radius, compare vehicles by make, model, and color, and complete key financing steps online. The initiative aims to merge Amazon’s e-commerce convenience with the trusted certification and warranties of Ford’s Blue Advantage program.

Under the Ford Blue Advantage program, Ford Motor Company provides three levels of certification: Gold, EV (Electric Vehicle), and Blue Certified. Gold Certified vehicles undergo a 172-point inspection, while EV Certified models receive a 127-point inspection focused on electric components. Each certification tier includes a comprehensive limited warranty and roadside assistance, ensuring customers benefit from rigorous quality standards when purchasing through Amazon Autos.

CNBC reports that the certified pre-owned listings are initially available in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas, with broader expansion planned for 2026. The partnership represents a significant move for Amazon Autos into the certified used vehicle market traditionally dominated by dealership networks. Industry analysts see this as part of Amazon’s strategy to diversify its retail ecosystem and integrate automotive services within its existing marketplace infrastructure.

Amazon.com, Inc., headquartered in Seattle, Washington, is a global technology and e-commerce company. Through initiatives such as Amazon Autos, it continues to expand into new retail sectors by offering customers digital tools for purchasing vehicles and connecting with trusted dealerships. The company’s broader mission is to deliver innovation and convenience across every aspect of consumer commerce worldwide.
